Lots of updates in the newest version and a big thank you to many of you who have reached out requesting new features. This week’s big addition, sending BTC out of Shakepay to your own wallet, was the most requested feature from the last two weeks so we had to build it.

Send Bitcoin to a Bitcoin wallet address

You asked, we delivered. In this latest update, you can now send bitcoin to a wallet address on the blockchain. As simple as that.

Note that transactions will usually take up to a few hours to hit the blockchain.

Account verification more accessible

Phone, email, and account verification are now accessible on the settings page. As usual, before transacting on the platform you must have all three checks complete.

Bug fixes

  • Fix squashed android login and sign up screen when keyboard is present
  • Added verify account and add funds buttons on appropriate screens
