Who is eligible?
This offer is available to eligible Shakepay Blue customers with an active Shakepay Card and a Shakepay account in good standing.
Are non-Blue customers eligible?
No. This offer is only available to Shakepay Blue customers. Non-Blue customers can open the Card tab to see the offer and how Blue perks show up in the app.
How do I reach Blue?
You can qualify for Blue by receiving $2,000+ in paycheque deposits per calendar month or exchanging $1,000+ per calendar month, subject to the current status rules shown in the app.
What purchases qualify?
Direct purchases from Bitkey or Casa made with your Shakepay Card during the offer period may qualify.
Do purchases from Amazon, resellers, or third-party marketplaces qualify?
No. Only direct Bitkey or Casa merchant purchases qualify. Purchases through resellers, Amazon, third-party marketplaces, aggregators, or manual receipt submissions do not qualify.
How many purchases can earn the promotional reward?
The offer is limited to one qualifying purchase per customer, per merchant. That means one eligible Bitkey purchase and one eligible Casa purchase may qualify, subject to the offer terms.
How much can I earn?
You can earn 5% back in bitcoin on eligible purchases. There is no per-merchant reward cap, but the offer is limited to one qualifying purchase per customer, per merchant.
When does the offer run?
The offer starts at 12:01 a.m. ET on August 12, 2026 and ends on August 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
When will I receive the reward?
Your standard Blue Card cashback of 1.5% should land as usual. The net promotional reward, expected to be the additional 3.5%, will be reviewed after August 31 and paid by Shakepay within 10 business days.
What happens if I refund my purchase?
Refunded, partially refunded, returned, reversed, cancelled, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible purchases do not qualify. If a reward is already paid and the purchase is later refunded, returned, or otherwise becomes non-qualifying, Shakepay may revoke, reverse, or recover the reward.
Is this paid in cash or bitcoin?
The reward is paid in bitcoin.
Does the 5% stack with my standard Shakepay Card cashback?
No. The 5% is the total cashback rate for eligible purchases, inclusive of standard Shakepay Card cashback. Your standard 1.5% Blue Card cashback lands as usual, and Shakepay pays the remaining promotional reward separately after August 31.
Terms & Conditions
This offer is available to Shakepay customers who, at the time of purchase:
- are Shakepay Blue customers;
- have an active Shakepay Card account; and
- have a Shakepay account in good standing.
The promotion starts on August 12, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. ET and ends on August 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
To qualify, you must make a direct purchase from Bitkey or Casa using your Shakepay Card during the promotion period.
Bitkey and Casa are not affiliated with Shakepay. This promotion is offered by Shakepay only and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Bitkey or Casa.
Shakepay will determine whether a purchase qualifies based on the transaction information available to Shakepay, including merchant name, merchant category, transaction details, and settlement data.
The following purchases do not qualify:
- purchases made through resellers;
- purchases made through Amazon;
- purchases made through third-party marketplaces or aggregators;
- purchases from merchants that Shakepay cannot identify as Bitkey or Casa; and
- purchases submitted manually by receipt.
This offer is limited to one qualifying purchase per customer, per merchant. There is no total reward cap per merchant.
The 5% back is the total reward rate for qualifying purchases. It includes any standard Shakepay Card bitcoin rewards, unless Shakepay states otherwise.
Standard Shakepay Blue Card cashback of 1.5% will be paid as usual. The remaining promotional reward, expected to be an additional 3.5%, will be reviewed after the promotion ends and paid in bitcoin by Shakepay within 10 business days after August 31, 2026.
Rewards are calculated on the settled CAD transaction amount and paid in bitcoin based on Shakepay’s rate at the time the reward is issued.
Purchases do not qualify if they are refunded, partially refunded, returned, reversed, cancelled, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible.
If Shakepay pays a reward on a purchase that is later refunded, partially refunded, returned, reversed, cancelled, charged back, disputed, or found to be ineligible, Shakepay may revoke, reverse, or recover the promotional reward.
Shakepay may withhold, revoke, reverse, or recover rewards if Shakepay believes, in its sole discretion, that a purchase or customer activity is fraudulent, malicious, abusive, made in bad faith, intended to exploit the offer, caused by technical error, or violates these terms or any other applicable Shakepay terms.
This offer is subject to the Shakepay Card terms and any other applicable Shakepay terms.
