What types of deposits are eligible for the reward?

Payroll direct deposits will be eligible to earn the reward for the purposes of this promotion. That includes deposits from your salaried position or gig work deposits (Eg. Uber, Instacart, etc.).

Deposits from other financial institutions, government cheques and pension cheques will not be eligible for this reward.


How do I earn the maximum reward?

If you receive two direct deposits of $500 - $999 before January 31, 2025, you’ll earn a $50 reward.

If you receive two direct deposits of $1,000+ before January 31, 2025, you’ll earn a $100 reward.


When will my reward be paid?

We’ll deposit your reward directly into your Shakepay account on February 5, 2025.


Are there any other conditions to receive my reward? Do I need to keep my money in Shakepay for a specific amount of time?

Nope, there are no additional conditions to receive your reward. You simply need to receive two paycheques of at least $500 via direct deposit by January 31st, 2025.


I already receive my paycheque in my Shakepay account. Am I eligible for the reward?

Sorry, this promotion is for new direct deposits only. If you’re already receiving your pay into your Shakepay account, you’re not eligible for this reward.


Can my pay also be #shakepaid?

Promotion rules


The promotion is subject to a limit of 1 reward per customer.

Rewards are available only to the first 500 customers who meet all eligibility requirements, as determined by Shakepay in its sole discretion. Once limit is reached, no additional rewards will be issued, even if other customers meet the promotion criteria.

Shakepay reserves the right to verify the source of all deposits, and disqualify participants for any suspected fraud, abuse or violation of these rules. 

Rewards are non-transferable and will be credited only to the Shakepay account associated with the eligible direct deposits.
